Since the beginning of 2018, a wave of spam has been running with the help of which various products are to be sold. Particularly popular:
- Nail fungus
- Snoring
- Night glasses
- Touch-up pens
- Massage mat
- Joint pain
- Bitcoins
You can find matching advertisements on various websites. These spam mails are very cleverly structured. They have constantly changing subject lines and texts, they come from constantly changing sender addresses and they even have a valid DKIM signature. Although as a human you can tell at first glance that it is spam, it is hard to decide by machine.
What we are not allowed to do as a provider: Sort out mails from the outset that contain one of the above-mentioned terms. The pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies and opticians among our customers, for example, would not like that. And many people actually trade in Bitcoins.
But what can you do to stem the tide of spam?
- Blocking sender addresses makes no sense at all with this type of spam - every mail has a different sender.
- But of course you are free to decide that you do not want to receive any mails that contain, for example, the word "nail fungus" or others in the subject line. Simply set up a rule that rejects such mails. How to do this is described here on our website.

Dann können Sie immer noch unter dieser Adresse nachsehen, ob vielleicht eine „echte“ Mail als Spam klassifiziert wurde.
